Tell me about the Cotswold Miniatures Weekend?
Many of you will have attended small courses, workshops or club events whilst some of you may have been to larger events such as the BMW’s or the EMMA Gatherings. Others will have been confined to working alone or with the aid of the internet and going to occasional fairs.
Our weekend aims to offer a rewarding experience for miniaturists, the chance to take workshops with well known tutors and at the same time socialise with like minded people for a whole weekend.
We received great feedback from our third weekend organised last October (you can take a look on our Gallery page to see a little of what we got up to) and have incorporated that into our plans for our event this year.
You register to attend the event and choose your workshops. This includes a small fee to cover the facilities and refreshments during the day. Any workshop fees are payable direct to your chosen Tutor. You will need to arrange your own accommodation if needed but we have some local information to help you on our Accommodation page
Where are the workshops being held?
Our weekend for 2013 is at the Eastington Community Centre near Stroud in Gloucestershire on Saturday and Sunday 12th and 13th October. For those that attended last year this is the same excellent venue and our fourth annual event here. You can find more details and directions on the Locations page
Who are the Tutors and what can I make?
All our tutors are enthusiastic miniaturists and experienced in running workshops covering a variety of miniatures. Each weekend is different and you can view details of the Tutors and the workshops at our October 2013 weekend on the Workshops & Tutors page
How can I book a place?
We would love to see you at our October weekend. Booking your place can be done by downloading and completing our simple booking form found on our Booking page
